Why in the past only SOME dentists say it was ok to use listerine mouthwash first and then immediately right after act fluoride when 2 in 1 mouthwashes didnt exist like 30 years ago? Listerine that far back was only for bad breath/gingivitis and act was only for cavities... could listerine be used first in the morning after brushing and right after act mouthwash?

I think it is always best to brush your teeth first, wait ten minutes and then use the act mouthwash before the listerine. The act fluoride mouthwash needs to form a layer on the tooth surface, and stay there, in order for it to work. If you use listerine after the act mouthrinse, there is a chance that you remove the fluoride layer that is supposed to form, thereby negating the intended effect of the act mouthwash.

Biotene is for dry mouth... hows this relevant?
It's a benefit just because it has added text on the label doesn't mean it can't be just as good

biotene ingredients: Water, glycerin, xylitol, sorbitol, propylene glycol, poloxamer 407, sodium benzoate, hydroxyethylcellulose, methylparaben, propylparaben, flavor, sodium phosphate, disodium phosphate.

Listerin Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Eucalyptol (0.092 %), Antiplaque/Antigingivitis; Menthol (0.042 %), Antiplaque/Antigingivitis; Methyl Salicylate (0.060 %), Antiplaque/Antigingivitis; Thymol (0.064 %), Antiplaque/Antigingivitis. Inactive Ingredients: Water, Alcohol (21.6%), Sorbitol, Poloxamer 407, Benzoic Acid, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Benzoate, Flavor, Green 3 .

Some people are more sensitive to different types of alcohol based mouthwash causing more gum irritation
