Normal healing after wisdom teeth?

I have no pain really just this annoying scab rubbing against the inside of my mouth. I had my wisdom teeth (all four) removed 7 days ago, and I have almost no pain but i look in my mouth and there's a gross dark colored looking scab and there's a little bit of white on it . It's really gross looking but isn't painful is this normal?

It could be scar tissue or gum/ tissue remodeling around the area where the tooth is removed. It doesn't feel like exposed bone, does it? Either way, go back to the surgeon for a check to make sure that thing are OK and your are not dealing with a possible dry-socket in the near future. Best of luck and keep me posted. Regards,
