Hello, This is my first post to this group. I am curious how useful
the night guards are that dentists are recommending. These are custom
made by the dentist and cost about $800. Both my dentist and my
husband's dentist have recommended these but neither of us have much
dental wear and don't notice that we clench or grind out teeth. Are
these just recommended as a matter of course when people get around 60
years old?? I wonder if these might be the latest "in thing" like the
tooth whitening. I haven't found any really positive comments on this
group regarding these. Thanks for your reply. Stephie

It is hard to comment without knowing what your and your husband's
    teeth look like.
There are also many types of night guards out there some better than
    others.
