New crown(s)

Good day all,

Just had two porcelain crowns installed yesterday & have a question. To adjust clearance (height) between upper & lower teeth, what's the correct way for the dentist to adjust (grind the crown or other tooth)??

I think it's for grinding. But of course, your dentist knows best.
