Lemon juice, as dressing, on fresh salad.

I like to you lemon juice on my lettuce salads as my dressing. I have used both fresh lemons, which I squeeze directly onto my salad, and lemon juice from a bottle. It tastes so much lighter and fresher than other salad dressing. How damaging can this be to my teeth?

Lemon juice has a high level of acidity, which could lead to erosion of your enamel if consumed in high quantities. If you only use it on your salads and consume it now and then, it should not be too concerning. You can try rinsing your mouth with water after eating your salad,to wash away any residual juice on the surface of your teeth.
