Itchy red spot on palette

Hi! I have had an itchy "throat" for over a week now. I finally realized it isn't my throat per se, but the hard palette. I finally took a look and there is a red spot up there. Anything to worry about or should I see if it resolves on its own?

You have silent acid reflux or Gerd that is the cause, go see a Ent or gastroesophageal doctor
