Is wound bed healing post extraction

I had a molar extraction done 3 days ago and still have some pain and swelling is this normal? Please see attached picture of wound bed is this normal?

If the pain worsens, then there is a chance that you have a dry socket, which would need intervention by your treating dentist. If the pain is minimal, I would just be more patient and allow healing to proceed.
