Is this a oral mucocele??

Hi,

Ive had this on my lip for a good 6 months, its painless i do bite etc without realising. Im just worried as its been there months. I have tried to pop but no liquid comes out just blood when irritated. It gets in the way of eating at times. Is this a oral mucocele how do i remove i just want it gone. Any input would be great. @Dr M

Looks like it could be a mucocele. Best way to remove it, is surgically. If you continue to bite your lip, there is high chance of recurrence.

It just wont go away it shrinks but if bitten as the location is near bite it inflames again
