I had #30 extracted a while ago because of a leaking root canal. A dental implant was recommended. I am currently undergoing the prep for this.I am 70 years old and wondering if the implant is really necessary. I was told that the adjoining teeth would shift and cause bite problems. How long before this would become a problem? Months? Years?
