Is a crunch sound normal with new front crowns

When I first got my crowns I noticed some slight crunching sounds nothing fell off or felt broken it's zirconia so my first thought the crowns are just kind of seating into place on their own. Even biting into cooked chicken I could hear a slight crunch.

A crunching sound might indicate surface roughness. Go back to your dentist to have the bite checked and also to smooth any roughness.
