About two weeks had an implant. Returned yesterday. Dentist took x-ray said it is fine. Noted that the area around the implant is a little dark in the x-ray but said this is normal as the implant is very new. Is this likely to be accurate? Note; no pain or discomfort.

Without that x-ray, all you are asking is if something the dentist sees is normal. I'm not sure how we can help.
