How Long Is Too Long For A Bridge?

If I had a premolar extracted over a year ago and now considering a bridge - is it too late?

Thanks for the reply. Will it be less functional or a more difficult procedure because I waited?

Nothing as such. Hope not much migration of adjacent or opposing tooth has occurred in this time period.
