Did one recently and they basically told me only way to reduce is drilling and crowns. Been doing mouthwash and brushing way more often this year. But $200 for a saliva tests pervisit seems rediculous.

As a dentist, I believe drilling and crowns shouldn't be the first solution—especially if the patient is improving hygiene. $200 per visit for saliva tests sounds excessive unless there's a clear diagnostic need. Prevention and conservative care should come first.
