Having symptoms of sleep apnea

I have symptoms of sleep apnea, I wake up with a tight chest and a dry mouth almost every morning feeling unrested, what do I do to get it checked out? I’m in the uk it’s seriously taking a toll on my life all because of an overbite that I cannot fix, I was refused braces when I was younger and now it’s making my health worse i am becoming depressed
The Gp & dentist don’t want to help me everytime I go in they don’t understand
