Hello, in normal/day to day lighting the rct tooth is visibly darker. First thing people notice when I smile. Would there be a way of making it not stand out whilst preserving the tooth and tooth structure?

For any non-vital tooth ( the one with the RCT ), you can consider doing non-vital bleaching. This is a internal type of bleaching and you can google to procedure. This is a non-invasive procedure. You get good results, but it does not last forever. Consider getting a crown placed on the tooth instead. It will protect the weakend tooth and will not change colour.

Hello! I have a similar issue, I was wondering how often does the composite bonding require upkeep? The hygiene is impeccable and I also avoid sugar/fizzy drinks day to day.
Would it be possible to keep the tooth for decades? (theoretically )

I feel you! Also recently an adult.
The fact that it's a front tooth is bothersome, if it was any other tooth I personally would have found it charming but people notice the discoloured front tooth immediately upon me smiling/talking, please update if you did anything!
