Front Teeth Gemination Causing Misalignment Looking for Practical Treatment Options (Non-Crown)

Hi everyone,

I’m dealing with a dental problem that has been affecting both my appearance and my confidence. One of my upper front teeth has gemination (twin tooth) with a large single root. Because of this, my second incisor has erupted crooked and out of alignment.

A dentist I recently visited (not an orthodontist) told me the tooth cannot be rotated into the right position and suggested zirconia crowns on my front six teeth as the only option. I’m really hesitant about this because it would mean grinding down healthy teeth, and I’m concerned about the long-term consequences.

I’d like to explore less invasive solutions. I’m aware that some treatments can be costly, and at the moment my budget is limited, so I need to find something realistic and staged over time rather than an expensive full procedure all at once.

My questions are:

1. Is orthodontic treatment (braces or aligners) still an option with gemination and a large root?

2. Are there other conservative methods to improve alignment or appearance without damaging healthy teeth?

3. Has anyone here faced something similar and found a long-term solution?

I’ve attached a photo of my teeth and an X-ray with personal details removed for reference.

Thank you for any advice, insights, or experiences you can share.
