My older brother recently got into a bad car accident and doctors said he will be on a permanent feeding tube, I was curious, does he need a dental visit/cleaning every 6 months now as a average person would need?
He is no longer chewing or taking in any food through his mouth (or liquids) so is there a need? Would just a swish of mouth wash everyday suffice?
