Failed CTG gum graft....help!

Hi there,

I had a connective tissue gum graft surgery two weeks ago, and I just looked at the tooth and it looks like it didn’t work. I don’t see the periodontist for another week, however I’m obviously very upset and have huge amounts of anxiety. Does this mean my tooth is dead and didn’t accept the graft? What are my options if so? I’m really worried and have no idea what to do. Any help is much appreciated.

So sorry to hear of your dental issues.
Unfortunately, gum surgery is a waste of time and money.

There are some other things you can do to heal your gums.
