Does anyone know the average cost of a root canal?

My daughter needs a root canal, but we don't have very good dental insurance.

I looked up a couple local dentists in the area. Most of them had websites, but the only one i found said with a cost said it would cost between 800-900, and anywhere up to 1,400 in extreme cases (http://www.sunlandfamilydentistry.com/#!root-canal/c1jrp).

Does anyone know if that price changes depending on if it's a child or not? And how much does insurance usually cover.

Dear Alex,
The average cost of any treatment varies from place to place,and even town to town.
Countries like India has an unbelievable price tag,which is much lesser than that of the western countries,opening doors for a new sector called dental tourism.It all depends on a lot of factors.

Hope you can find a good dentist at your home town itself, for getting it done.All dentist in a province will have almost the same range of treatment price.
