I’ve attached a dental X-ray showing my right-side molars at different magnifications (100%, 200%, and 300%). I'm wondering if a nerve filling (root canal) might be necessary for one of these teeth.
Your wisdom tooth needs removal first. Thereafter the 2nd molar needs to be evaluated. If it can be saved, then a root canal will be needed. If the decay due to the impacted wisdom was too severe, then the 2nd molar will needed to be extracted.
