On Wednesday evening (6 or 7 days after the operation) the blood clot and the layer of granulation tissue fell out for some reason. The tooth socket hurts a bit. Will it resolve on its on or is there a risk of infection?

Good day

If you had a dry socket, you would have had severe pain with a bad taste and smell. Dry sockets are usually also only 3-4 days after an extraction. Any pain you are experiencing now, is most likely normal post op surgical pain that will resolve on its own.
