Hi Dr,
I’m doing some research into the challenges cosmetic dentists are facing today — especially around business growth and patient acquisition. I’d love to hear your perspective: what are some of the toughest hurdles or problems you feel practices are struggling with right now, whether it’s attracting high-value patients, managing reputation, or even balancing workload with business demands?
Your insights would be really valuable.

I'm a lab dude, not dentist, but if it's helps I would like to share some thoughts base on my experience with dentists.
What frustrated dentists most: limited mouth open.
What annoying dentists most: chairside adjustment of crown.
What upset dentists most: reschedule appointment due to delaying, losing patient due to continuous remake.
What stop dentists business: Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) are becoming prohibitively expensive. Competition for keywords like "cosmetic dentist [City]" or "veneers" is fierce, driving up cost-per-click and lowering ROI. It's a pay-to-play environment that's hard for smaller practices to win.

Hey man thank you so much for replying, i have another question for you.

1) You mentioned Google Ads and Meta are becoming too expensive — have you seen any alternative methods that actually worked for smaller practices?

2) From your experience, what do you think most independent cosmetic dentists really want — more patients overall, or fewer but higher-value ones (like veneers, implants, aligners)?
