Hi all.

My baby first teeth are quite unusual. They are completely transparent.

Could be a sign of dentinogenisis imperfecta?

Good day

It can be that, which can be congenital or environmental in origin, or it can be a form or enamel or dentin dysplasia, in which the enamel or dentin layer of the teeth, did not develop as it should. If you are worried, go and see your dentist. It is a good idea to take your baby to the dentist, when the first teeth develop, since it helps in the establishment of a dental home, and the dentist can also follow-up on how the teeth develop. It might be necessary to restore them at a later stage, to prevent future problems.
