Dental crowns

Hi, I have a question for patients who have had crown(s) and dentists: Would you like to see some development in dental crowns? It could be regarding comfort, how realistic it looks to a real tooth, using other types of materials to make the crown, or anything else that you might want to change. I know it is a pretty open-ended question, all answers are welcome!

Thanks a lot! :)

Patients want crowns that are more realistic (look and feel like real teeth), more comfortable, quicker to get, and last longer.
Dentists want stronger, more aesthetic, and biocompatible materials, along with more precise digital tools and better bonding agents for easier and more effective crown placement.
Both aim for virtually perfect, lifelong restorations that are more affordable.

As a patient who has had multiple crowns we want durability and affordability. Looks aren't a huge deal but if given the transformation is welcome of course and of course no pain after the crown seat. I still have cold sensitivity from a crown put on 6 months ago.
