Dental crown vs Dental Implant

I’m currently standing at a crossroads between saving a failing tooth with a crown or just pulling it and going for a full implant, and I honestly can’t decide which 'forever' fix is actually worth the investment. For those of you who chose one over the other, do you ever regret trying to save the natural tooth with a crown, or did the implant process feel like way more of an ordeal than the brochures let on?

It all depends on the condition of the tooth which you are trying to save. Do you have x-rays that you could share perhaps? We could then comment better on the long term prognosis of the tooth?
