Coldness sensitivity since crown replacement back in January

Back in January I had a bridge needing replacing. I opted to go for a middle implant now I thinking there could be spacefrom the implant heal site causing cold sensation that's getting underneath the crown. I stead of a root canal I'm wondering if a gum resection could help or if it may go away once I actually get a crown on the implant in the middle. No pain on the first crown.

There could be some areas of exposed dentin that is causing the sensitivity. This does not mean that the crown is leaking in any way.
I would recommend try to apply some Sensodyne toothpaste on the tooth about 3 times a day. Rub it on and then leave it on. Don't rinse your mouth. This should make the sensitivity a bit more managable. I would then wait until the implant crown is placed and then see what the sensitivity does.
