Can you tell from this xray what has been causing long term pain?

The tooth that you can see is an incisor. It is next to an implant but the pain does not seem to be coming from the implant area but from the area of gum around the incisor.
Can you see what is causing the problem?

Hi, it may be caused by either an installed implant or more probably by too tight placement of the teeth in relation too each other. I would suggest you showing this photo to an orthodontist, he may discuss with you setting up braces, they are quite expensive and I've heard different versions of what is the maximum age you can set the braces at, but I'ts up to the ortodontist to assess it.
