I've just read about this biomaterial, Bond Apatite, that looks promising in dealing with bone surgery. Also, it says the article I've read that it contains hydroxiapatite. Is it possible to use this material in apicectomy? I get curious about it, since bioceramics is being used for obturation.
Thanks!

I can't think why it would be useful for apicos. After an apico, you want something to seal the root apex that is biocompatible with bone, like MTA. This Bond Apatite is for bony defects. After an apico, the bone will infill and heal all by itself, no need for bone grafting material.

Thanks for the reply! I was wandering about this because I've seen a case were a patient lost a big portion of maxilary bone due to apical inflamatory that developed in non vital incisal teeth. Thanks again for your explanation!;)
