I had an abscess on a bottom front tooth about 20 years ago. Was treated at dentist by draining and antibiotics. However of late, I have noticed that this tooth has become slightly more discoloured. No pain, but there are some darker veins underneath. I've been to my dentist, but nothing was noted about this tooth. Should I be worried?

If the tooth was root canal treated, it is normal to change color over time. Usually the teeth darken. Ask your dentist about non-vital bleaching or consider placing a crown over the tooth. Crowns do not change color.

Normal for it to change color. You don't need to worry if there is no pain. During your next check-up, the dentist can take an x-ray in order to evaluate the condition of the root canal.
