Hello, I got my 2nd lower right molar extracted 6 days ago and am wondering if it's healing okay or is infected. I still have some mild pain and discomfort but is manageable with Tylenol. I still have not eaten anything except mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. I've done salt water rinses everyday multiple times a day. I've been calling the dental office that pulled it and they have not answered or called me back.

It looks like you might have a dry socket, based on the amount of inflammation. Good news is that a dry socket is self-limiting, which means that it will resolve on its own, given time. If it is managable with Tylenol, I would just be more patient. If the pain increases however, I would suggest going back to the dentist to rinse the socket out.
