sorry for the neuroticism in advance. on the left side of my tongue, near the back near the foliate papillae, i have some small white dots in a line almost. i’ve been freaking out, thinking about the worst case scenario. they’ve been there for a week, when it first happened i remember it hurting on that side when i rubbed my tongue against my teeth. i have TMJ, so i figured that that is what had happened. this is actually the second time i’ve gotten irritation in that exact area.
for context, i am a former light smoker (.125 pack years) and i used swedish snus for a short period of time. i have discontinued both those things as of now. i haven’t touched either for months.
