    Teeth in one day

I have done a few dozen of these cases, they are challenging and require many appointments, thus the high cost. In the USA-California it is much more expensive. We charge about $30k (US Dollars) per arch, but that includes everything from a temporary denture affixed on the implant and the final...

Third molar root remnants present. Dentist said no problem. But, having pain for more than 3 weeks

What country are you located in? Is your brother taking any medications? If you were in the USA, I would say you need to see a qualified oral surgeon not a general dentist. It's hard to know if the tooth fragment is having an effect or not and the burning sensation is not typical for 3 weeks...

Black spot on my tooth but doesn't hurt?

Your picture is out of focus so I can't know for certain. If it has looked this way for a "couple of years" and hasn't changed then it is almost certainly a normal metal filling. In the profession we call it a "buccal pit amalgam".

    Implant x ray

Without that x-ray, all you are asking is if something the dentist sees is normal. I'm not sure how we can help.

    New crown question

You could make a lot more money diagnosing dental problems over the internet than me with 20 years of experience. Good luck with that!

    New crown question

Wow - amazing you can be so confident about that!

    New crown question

Sometimes crowns that are a little too tall for your bite cause weird sensations like that. I would let the dentist know now you are having this problem rather than keep waiting. A month is a reasonable amount of time, so I think you should look into it more.

    New crown question

When did you have it installed? Sometimes it takes a few weeks for things to settle in. It's unlikely there is a reaction between the metals.

    Canine problem

I've been on here for a few years now, you would be the first one....sadly.

Impacted Adult #18 - Nerve Damage

You might be right, I would still explore extrusion as a first option, but that's me.:)

    Canine problem

I see we finally have someone on here who makes sense and speaks the truth.

Impacted Adult #18 - Nerve Damage

I agree it should be considered, but even a 5% risk is not trivial. Can you image if that thing gets infected and now you HAVE to extract it? I wouldn't want my hand forced like that. And the risk of nerve damage when there is an active infection there is even higher. TADs have risk, but the...

Impacted Adult #18 - Nerve Damage

I will tell you what I tell all my patients in these situations: start with the least risky option that has the greatest chance of success and go towards riskier options if the former ones don't work.

Impacted Adult #18 - Nerve Damage

As I understand it, #17 is gone, you would upright #18 and use a TAD for anchorage. Worst case scenario it doesn't move, so you move on to something more invasive. Best case it is extruded even a little which would reduce risk overall the more it came out. Coronectomy is great assuming you don't...

Impacted Adult #18 - Nerve Damage

The point of an extrusion is to dramatically reduce the risk you speak of. You don't need a neurosurgeon for that, but you might involve one if you were removing the tooth. In the end of the day, it is up to a skilled surgeon and no amount of consultations is going to change the outcome in a...
