red spot on gums (picture)

Have you recently switched oral hygiene products? (mouthwash, toothpaste)? If so it could be an allergic reaction. Have you used any whitening products lately? These too can cause irritation. Definitely schedule an evaluation with your dentist.

Thanks for the reply. Yes just started using crest 3d white. I was thinking too, could it be something i ate because I had some really hot chicken wings and I normally dont eat really spicy food.
