    Hi,

I just got myself braces and have been told I have to to really care
    for my teeth.

Anyways my method is to brush after each meal and before I go to bed I
do the following ( in order )

    floss
    listerine
    brush
    floride rinse

Anyways I was in the drugstore and noticed that the ingredients in
listerine are about the same as plax.. except plax claims that it
somehow helps brushing remove more plaque... should i replace the
listerine with plax or insert another plax step in the list ??

Also I needed what is called "build up" to be put on my teeth for the
braces because my bite is very deep. Can this build up lead to
increased cavities given that some bacteria might get beneath the
    build up or something !!!

One final question for all yee dental superstars ... Is okay that I
only floss my front teeth top and bottom ( like the front 12 or so )
because it seems if any ever bleed they are just in the front. I
guess its better than nothing but the question is how much worse than
    doing them all ?

    Cheers.
    Any help would appreciated.

Skip the Plax. It is not really the same as the major mouthrinses. Tests
show it only marginally better than using water. A nightly fluoride rinse
just before bed would do a lot of good.

Floss only the teeth you plan to keep.
