I recently went to my dentist due to a tooth needing to be extracted. I had no insurance at the time. I have since obtained insurance, so I went back to my dentist office so I can get the procedure done, but the office manager insisted that because the diagnosis was done before I had insurance, I need to pay the non insurance price and I wouldn't be able to use my insurance. Is she correct in charging me the non insurance price?
