I have recently noticed (about 4 days ago) a blister-y feeling think on
the roof of my mouth. It is definitely raised because I can feel it
with my tounge. I can't really tell if it has become larger or smaller,
or if I'm just getting used to it. When I press on it, it seems to
flatten slightly and very temporarily, because I roll my tounge those
first few seconds and it's less distinguishable. I can feel it with my
finger. I've never had one of these on my roof before. However, It's
not uncommon for me to get canker sores every now and then.

I'm a healthy 35 year old guy with no other health problems.

Is this a canker sore on the roof? Have you seen this before?

Might be a canker sore, might be an abscess, might be pemphigus, might be a
burn, might be lichen planus, might be primary herpes, might be STD, might
be a cancer, might be a bunch of other things. Usually those are burns on
the roof of the mouth. Stop by the office here at 2:45 pm today and I will
have a look. Seriously, it needs to be looked at in person. call your
dentist. Probably no big deal, but why take chances ?

I'm good, it seems to be shrinking.

I would have asked how long he'd had it. No point in going to the
dentist every time you feel a blip that's going to heal inside a
    couple of days.
