advice please

i have just pulled a piece of my jawbone out through my gum it had been
bothering me for 3 monthes and the dentistsmade no attemp to remove it even
though it was giving me a gret deal of pain the question is how do i
preserve this piece of bone as my next appointment is the 15th sept

You should be able to let it dry out. If you are really concerned you could
freeze it.

interested .... it happens.

I have no clue what you want with it now that it has no blood supply
anymore. It's just dead bone. And since you took it's contaminated with
bacteria.

For teeth we take special nutritional fluid with antibiotics to preserve
for the dentist. But teeth have to put in in 2 hours.

So keep it, but dont expect it to be used by your dentist.
